94 95 Mustang Power Steering Pump Replacement

In this video, I replace the power steering pump on my 95 Mustang GT. These instructions work on 94 and 95 Mustangs. These instructions can also be used as a reference for 92 and 93 Mustangs with 5.0. I also replace the idler pulley and belt tensioner in the video.

May I ask why you put Automatic transmission fluid into the power steering pump instead of power steering fluid?

Many Ford vehicles actually call for ATF Fluid instead of regular power steering fluid. Important to check your vehicles manual.

During the actual removal of various parts you say nothing. Often while attempting to get to any part that is covered by other components can prove to be difficult for whatever reason, should be considered as technical difficulties to watch out for. Having to read through the subtitles which are not bright enough to read while working on the project. It’s disconcerting to have total silence. Watching others work on their cars there’s always some wisdom in working with the entire project to at least fill in the silence. What to expect or watch for when taking off components nearby and or related to the part that is being repaired.

I have limited time to edit the videos and simply record video's as I fix the 20 cars in my fleet. If this turns out to generate more revenue in the future, I will spend more time editing the videos. Right now it is just a hobby, with the goal of helping people working on their cars and save money.
