A grander presentation is planned in London but due to Covid-19 restrictions that has been put on hold.”_

I'm doing now for 5 years Ju-Jitsu but I have a physical disability ( knock-knees) - lately did the green belt exams and passed. Then a friend of me (also from Ju-Jitsu) came to me and said "Thank you for teaching me." And I was really confused about that asked like "Teaching what?" "Teaching me, that even when you have physical or even mental problems, if you work hard enough, you can overpass this." That was such a wonderful expirience for me and almost brought me to tears...

I love how he said judo is more than just a sport, it is a way of life. I used to work at a martial arts academy that wanted to make their own curriculum of martial arts. The teachers were very knowledgeable however I felt that they lacked heart. I’ve been doing martial arts for 15 years and I’ve been around the block with many martial arts and every teacher had heart (yes I understand that some people depend on martial arts as a source of income). The people I worked with viewed martial arts as a product that can be bought and sold. My friend didn’t join the school because he though they were just trying to sell him the martial art and that they had no passion for it. My boss even told me to do body building to look more professional, despite me doing six martial arts and having a black belt. Martial arts is more than just a sport, it is a way of life both physically and mentally. And I hope that I look as good as this guy when I’m 94... if I make it lol

Stephanie Wentz - My Grandad served in WW2. He was a flight sergeant in the RAF who was a rear Gunner in the Wellington and Lancaster Bombers. He died at 57. He would've been 98 if he was still alive. Him and his crew were coming back with a damaged Lancaster Bomber, they crash landed on the runway somewhere up in Scotland. The tail of the plane snapped off with him in it where he received bad injuries and the rest of the crew/friends died. I think that crash took a lot out of him and he was never completely the same. He became a draftsman where he helped design the Super Sonic Concorde. I never got to meet my Grandad, I'm happy you have yours. Thank your Grandad for his service from Me.✌️
