Thank you for the review Bryan. As someone needing to replace his worn-out EDC Fanny-Pack, this caught my attention. IMO there is still no great solution to CC when exercising, wearing sweats, fleece, etc. The fanny pack seems to still be one of the best good, but not great, solutions. However, nearly every pack I’ve ever seen, handled or considered all seem to have the same problem: Do they not violate Rule #1 of basic firearm safety? Whether placed in the main compartment of CC specific packs, I find that the handgun is invariably pointing roughly parallel with the ground, R or L. So, if you carry concealed in a pack with a loaded chamber, are you not pointing a firearm directly to either side? I think the chances of an inadvertent or negligent discharge are pretty low, but the risk is not zero. With this particular product the firearm you showed seemed to have a slight cant downwards, which would be good. Although a pleasant review Sir, I do not like the idea of this company forcing a consumer to purchase another Kydex holster (especially when a high-quality, model-specific holster is already owned. Why isn’t it designed to mate with the holster the customer already owns?) And finally, I do not believe this manufacturer had to have this manufactured abroad. I don’t believe that a good US mill/fabricator was not possible. For what this is, $150+ is too high. Thank you again for your thoughts on this item. You have a nice channel.

Hey Brian, pretty good draw there! But not here about a fanny pack. Because of your solid reputation and good things you had to say about hawg holsters I got with John And purchased my first holster from him, And according to him I am the first customer to have had his holster made in real time while we talked on the phone and got it shipped out same day and arrived two days later in Virginia. He shared great info with me concerning laws and consequences of an add-on that I had wanted. Won't be my last purchase And can highly recommend him!

Looks like a good option. I think it needs to be a tad wider to accept a large cell phone in the front pocket. It also needs a back side security pocket or flap so you can store your wallet or money clip in back.

It still has noisy zippers! The problem with those zippers is there is no stealth at all! I’m looking for one with military grade zippers which are not as noisy. And it too small, I would still need a purse and that means everyone would know where the pistol is. I don’t have a problem with the price if the holster is included, most good purses are around that price

I agree, but there it’s basically “sort of on body carry” for those times when your clothing doesn’t really facilitate you “regular” carry. Like when you are wearing light athletic clothing.

I have the Galco Factpack. While I'm a huge fan of the Galco Ankle Glove (I wear mine every day), the 945 has edged the Fastpack out for my favorite Concealed Carry fanny pack. The 945 is simpler, faster and the holster is better.

Is it possible to cleanly remove the stitching for the velcro on the outside of the pack? It’s the only thing I don’t like about it, it gives more of a tactical vibe look to it. I like how the large version doesn’t have it, but then it’s a little big for my p365.

They cover most of the popular Concealed Carry pistols on the market today. Obviously, when it comes to model specific holsters, there has to be enough of a demand to make it worthwhile to create one for that model. As for the price, sometimes you get what you pay for.

Let us be honest. Fanny packs do not look good or stealthy on anyone. Having said that: I have known professional LEA who have worn fanny packs in climates that would make any jacket ot vest seem even more ridiculous. Fair review. Honestly if I had to say fanny pack or unarmed, I might stay at home or I might substitute speed for a messenger bag. Just saying. Nice video.

My problem with ALL fanny packs is that the zippers are garbage. Every pack advertised on amazon has at least a few one or two star reviews complaining about broken zippers and broken buckles.

Not buying into this idea. Fanny packs are such an obvious advertisement of a concealed gun that you might as well put a sign on it stating “ gun inside”. I’ll stick with inside the waist holster with a shirt worn on the outside in warm weather and pocket holster in my jacket for cold weather. Also, I can draw from either position just as fast.

From what I’ve seen of the others on the market I’d pay more for this. Fumbling with zippers with inadequate string/grip, horizontal zipper access into a traditional pouch compartment designed with a hood that the gun gets snagged on. They’re not designed well. This one is designed exceptionally well. You can get a sub second draw and shot. Save $50-60 bucks now but risk losing your life later to some poor design quality you don’t think about until you find out the hard way. Not even close to worth saving the money from my perspective.
