The live performance of this, it is powerful. This is like a completely different song. For another performance a couple of years ago on the Hwasa TV show, they do a medley with a live band, starting with 1ellella full song, a medley of songs and solos and it ends with Paint Me live as I said and it is the original version, this performance was the first time they had done the original in years, because other versions like this one were being done.

I do prefer the Orchestral version. The vast majority of the versions on this album I like better than the original. I'm just a sucker for the pumped upness of award show/concert versions. By the way RBW has it's own orchestra. It's all real instruments on that. And I like this more than Destiny part 2. On the other hand I like the original Destiny better than this.

I've never done a side by side comparison of the two versions to see the differences beyond the musical accompaniment. Of course, Moonbyul's rap is an obvious difference, but the original version starts with Hwasa and then Solar before Wheein sings while Wheein starts here. It seems to me that Moonbyul gets quite a few more singing lines in this version.

LOL... though kinda saddistic for me to say this.. but your reaction to all of Mamamoo songs (at all those alluring/powerfel/sensual/sentimental etc etc colours of their voices) almost always kill you, their voices always wreck you everywhere, and I LOVE seeing that!! coz it's like how most if not ALL of us were feeling each time we listen to them. btw, I prefer this version of Paint Me, of course their LIVE versions no matter in what format is forever my FAVE version! btw, just curious, not sure if you checked out Mamamoo's Um Oh Ah Yeh Acapella version on their offical channel? recently I am like missing all these different versions that are on their KZbin channels but never on Spotify!!!! also love their performance of "Question Mark" on JYP party people... sadly that version is also not in spotify...
