I understand these are classics being played by the dude who helped write them, but this band severely needs a competent vocalist. The awful singing is the reason I'm sitting out this tour and have 0 interest in seeing them live, even if I LOVE old school CKY.

Holy crap, this straight up sounds awful. Like something is missing...maybe bass or a 2nd guitar? But that doesnt make sense...there is a bass player here, cant quite put my finger on it. A damn shame, Deron is one of my favorite songwriters of all time. I hope we someday see the original cKy lineup reunite. Unfortunately I don't ever see that happening 😞

That “2nd guitar” they used to have was likely turned all the way down during most live performances. Sound never changed regardless of chads hands being completely in the wrong place on the fretboard..doing a shitty guitar flip, etc.

96 was actually its own band for a while. They had their own brand and image and they sounded top notch solid on their 2020 tour. I saw them on 2 dates and was more than surprised at how tight they played together. This is just a mess now, relying on the image of the CKY logo, playing sloppy versions of IDR with obvious last minute replacements. Basing the whole tour on IDR for its “20 year anniversary” even though that’s a year late and not touring on Synergy Restored which we all waited 6 years for? I would say that’s an admission of failure
