I have never done paint pouring before but have always wanted to try. To be honest, I have been so nervous to try it because I have not been able to find a channel on KZbin that is as instructive or inspirational as yours. You are truly an incredible instructor! Hi Milly 😃 Thank you so so much for the support, I truly appreciate it!! 💜💜 I have a love hate relationship with the Behr 😂 but I’m so glad you’ve found a way to use it with tube paints! I’m going to have to try this, diluting the tube paints that way. No matter what I use though with the Behr I always get cracking even if I cover, do you ever get cracking with yours? I may have to try your mixture to see how it works for me .. it may also be my environment which I don’t have a lot of control over and do what I can but I’m so glad you’ve tamed that wild beast that is Behr and it works well for you!! 🤗🌺💜💜

Oh my gosh! That's why my paintings always crack! I'm using just behr and poly as my pouring medium and I get a lot of cracks with the tube paints. I thought it was my pillow this whole time and was adding GAC800 to it and covering it while it dries, which has helped but not with all of the paintings. Will be picking up some infinity when I can get to a lowes. Thank you 🙏 😊 Gorgeous painting!! I have learned SO much from you in the last two days than I have watching anyone else's videos.

Unfortunately Behr has that effect when used alone with a varnish I could never get it to work right but I love the clarity of it. It works well as a thickener and will add a little something extra if used that way 😊 .. I’m so glad I’ve been able to help 🤗🌺🌹💜

Jodie do you have a preference as to which type of paints you use? As in tubes, liquid or pigments or do you enjoy using a combination?

@@bronmckenzie4640 I honestly don’t have a preference, I love them all, it’s really what color I want to use will dictate what type. If I’m using a thicker PM I may use more fluids and pigments if tube paints don’t mix well. Lately I’m in love with the Infinity PM mix which tends to be thinner so I really like that I can use any type of paint with it. ☺️

Oh no, you don’t have to do a big canvas at all, when I started the blooms I started on 4” tiles and 4x6 canvas panels 🤗

When I first learned the blooms it was too new and the course used Australian products and no one knew tried and true US products yet so I had to test a lot just to find compatible products I could use.
