I'm glad to see you're running the D30 and D35, all my buddies were saying they were gonna snap and bend but honestly i've had no issues and I make sure the diff has clean fluid and the seals don't leak mud and dirt into the diff. Swapping my D30 out with a high pinon from a 94 XJ. Awesome video.

yeah, there's a lot of basement builders that like to comment on what you need. Chromoly axles on a d30 / d35 is plenty for the relatively light zj

Love the ZJ w/6.5" lift on 35s. Awesome! Enjoy the trails buddy. I would like it if you did a slower, more complete walkaround sometime, when you get the chance. Maybe better lighting with shots of undercarriage and an engine and drivetrain rundown? Can you do a short video of the rear bumper with close ups of the tire carrier pivot point. It looks to me, like a zj front wheel bearing mounted intelligently somehow? You said the rear bumper was a custom build so I cant ask where you bought it. I would like a slow close up of all angles of the hinge and lock and pin and the arm that locks it in the closed position. Thanks in advance.

well Soon that Jeep is going For Sale, we will do one more video on it before we Sell it.

i would also love how or what that pivot is made from!
@bombdiggitydave38813 жыл бұрын
@@sjc1778 that is a wheel bearing set upright. Axle has been cutoff and welded to bumper, then an arm fabricated to hold wheel and tire. Add a pin and drill a hole to secure and in a evening or 3 of head scatching and gluing metal and that spare tire arm can be remade. Hope my answers made better sense of how the pivot was made according to my observation.
@4WDAdventureCrew3 жыл бұрын
Pivot is Axle shaft and Hub from trailer store
@bombdiggitydave38813 жыл бұрын
@@4WDAdventureCrew i meant hub bearing, my apology. But I nailed how it was fabricated for the most part. Thanks for clarifying.

Well in summer all of our Jeeps run Hot, but winch blocking radiator is not best place, but Jeep not running any hotter then XJs with no winch in front. If that helps

@@4WDAdventureCrew yep, kind of what I was thinking.. I have a few xjs, a tj, and a zj. The zj is new to me amd I got it for an overlander since it’s got the 5.2 v8. My tj and xj is built for off-road so I made custom bumpers and relocated the winch control boxes to help with air flow. Thanks for the videos and response!
