96 s10 blinkers not working but hazards do

Was driving and realized my blinkers quit working hope this video helps you out

FYI, to all who watched this and have an S-10. putting a spare wheel back up into a blazer's spare wheel area and pinching a lousy trailer hitch wire between the wheel and the chassis will create the same symptoms. Check the wires, check the grounds. I purchased a new neutral safety switch (for automatics) and then found those wires pinched. I returned the N.S.S.

Just a small FYI, if the blinkers still turn on but don't blink, (my issue) it's the flasher (referred to in this video as the "fuses" behind the dash, under the radio, left of the ashtray) there are 2, one for the hazards and one for the regular turn signals. It's pretty easy to get to, and replace.

My turn signals didn't come on at all and it was the flasher. It can fail in either position. Sometimes you get a solid light sometimes you get nothing at all

Hi, I hava a simlar problem with my Toyota Ceica St16 (1986) With the original Flasher: When turning left signal, Buzzer noise is heard. Turn right signal is working good. Already replaced the original Flasher with a new one, but then the left and right turn signal does not light up on dashboard.. Buzz noise is gone. Hazard lights working well Checked the bulbs: good shape. What can this be? I have a video taken from the noise.

My issue is that none of the lights (any turn signal, hazard, or brake lights) work. The “PWR” fuse was burnt and I’m in the process of replacing it. Is that going to fix my problem or is there something else that you know?

I would check and see if the fuse box is damaged or melted in any way

My Chevy S10 02 2003 is not getting any power to the fuel pump and the fuses and relays are good. Where should I start looking for a bad wire?

Sorry for the delay but you might have to look at doing a continuity test of the wires from the fuel pump to the fuse box not fun

Please help me. I have a 2003 S10 Zr2. My problem is.. My blinkers will only work if I pull to the left on the hazard switch . And my hazard will ask work only if I put the handle on the right turn signal position. I have installed a new hazard relay, to no avail. Please help me figure t what other things I can try to resolve this is issue. Thank you so, so very much(!!!!) I have a one hour drive, each way to/from work.

Hey Melody if the hazard switch is finkey like that along with the turn signal you will have to replace the mutifunction swith since those are combined together and could be causing your issue they range from 40-70 Dollars on certain sites otherwise id pull from a junkyard

I've replaced both relays and fuse on my 96 gmc jimmy but still no turn signals or cruise control but hazards work.....im stumped..help.

Hi KJ, yours might be a lil more in depth as the actual Multi Function combination switch might be the problem but again this is just a theory or an idea...on Amazon look up "Multi function combination switch 96 GMC Jimmy" and you'll see what part i'm talking about since you said you cruise was bad as well Again this is just a guess since i had to replace this when i tried putting my new stereo in and broke the Hazard button on top of the steering column tearing apart the dash, that button killed any attempt to use my blinkers at all if you can find a pin out you might be able to test the wires by bypassing it. Hope this Helps if this is the issue you might need a special torques socket to remove the steering column covers it will be really small socket as i found out

Hi Austin, not to sure on your situation could be a bad Ground at the Lights. because relay's either work or they don't
