Alternator “kicking” on and off is simply the grid heater kicking on and off when it’s cold. Helps keep the smoke or haze to a minimum and get it running smoothly

Month ago I bought a reg.cab 97 2500 Cummins....4x4...12 valve bone stock....BHAF and straight piped 5inch on there. This weekend gunna get the #6 fuel plate...PDD 7x.011 injectors in..and .055 D.V.'s....run the valves to .07 and .17...have the lighter BD spring to put in the afc..and a new overflow valve...plus the gm governor upgrade in the trans!! Black smoke dont mean shes broke!! 6 in a row,ready to tow!!

@@96_12v I’m pretty sure the first Gens had the wait to start buzzer but they all had the open door buzzer. That’s what I’m getting at

I popped out the door switch on the drivers side and cut one of the wires for the door buzzer. No more door buzzer on my 1994 ram. You can also unplug the door switch but you're overhead lights wont turn on when you open the drivers door.
