I'm working on this as well lol. Rebuilt and balanced drive shaft but still vibrates at 55 ugh. Awesome video again 👊 I love how you didn't use a press

Steve I wondered why you didn't just replace the worn bushings and when I looked at the cost just 20.00 more to just swap out the whole thing. Not worth the trouble..... your a smart man Steve ! I'm going to throw a little more money at it and get adjustable ones with rubber bushings and adjustable ball joints to be able to really dial in the alignment . Your jeep turned out so good. Regards William

@@ForceBuilt I put this commit on the wrong video .....it changed on me. I do like the way you balanced the front shaft in this video very clever I had watched this one before . I will probably put crazy money in mine but I want it the way I want it and my son-in-law will get it one day and I'm sure he will enjoy it long after I'm gone.

I have the front shaft out at the moment, replaced the front u joint ,but wondering, what is a symptom that shows the rear u joints of the front shaft, are bad ?
@ForceBuilt Жыл бұрын
Just Real sloppy movement. Hold the shaft and try and move(with a twisting motion) the double part of the driveshaft side to side(The big end). If it moves much at all side to sidethe u-joints need replaced. Thanks for watching!

Safety first. Where's your jack stands?
@ForceBuilt4 жыл бұрын
The only 2 I have were at the front where my head is. They were there just off camera. And just a floor jack in the back that you can see on camera. Thanks for noticing and you are right, I did need 2 more lol. Thanks for the comment!
