It would be easier and the same cost if not cheaper to get forged rods and pistons and a T-trim supercharger for yours, it would make much, much more power too. I think you underestimate how many thing youd have to buy for a swap.. Our Cobras have Teskid blocks and forged cranks already. Like I said, probably cheaper, easier, and more HP. It's your car though dude

@@Q-gf8vb the 3650 is indeed a better trans than the t45 but either one should do fine on a stockish coyote but if you swap the manifold and mod it and spin it up close to 8k neither trans is gonna like that at all and prob need to be built.

Man if the coyote sounded like a new edge or sn95? With flowmasters I would love the engine but, I just hate the sound of the engine, love the engine for what it is, but can’t stand the sound at all

You can make it sound alot more similar to the older cars than most do. It'll never sound as good imo but with an h pipe and some tame mufflers they can sound pretty sick. With x pipes and wide open loud mufflers like everyone runs on them it exasperates the raspy issue that they have. While I agree the older 2v, 3v and 4v motors sounded better you can make coyotes sound pretty badass too with the right setup. You gotta do everything possible to tame that raspyness lol

Parts you’ll be in it at least 10-12 grand. All depends on what you want to spend. Labor well that’s up to whatever shop wants to charge. It’s not impossible but it is a task.

@@Mr.2vStanglife imo the best thing to do is go gen 1 truck motor with l&m intake cams and a cj intake. The intake manifold and intake cams are the main differences with the truck version so switch out the truck cams for l&m intake only cams which pick up 20 horse over gen 1 mustang cams with no loss of torque the gains would be even more over the truck cams. Intake manifold is different too so be a good excuse to go ahead and swap a cj. The cj works best with the aftermarket cams but if you stay with stock mustang cams might as well go 18 manifold it works about as good with the stock cams. Once the cams are upgraded the cj can really do what it does. You save money going with the truck version of the motor and the money saved would be enough to get the l&m intake cams and cj intake. I'm thinking about doing something similar with an older stang in the future.

boss wan55 car pulled a 2015 Mustang GT with exhaust and intake by about a car length. Car was never put on rollers so I can’t give you an exact number. In this video the car had a Lund tune, intake, LTH, MSD ignition coils. MMR head cooling mod.
