As a kid, pretty much nothing in the world could match the excitement of throttling up and pushing through 30 or 40 knots on my grandfather's boat, and this video just brought that feeling back in spades! What a perfect day boat - I loved how the teak (or synthetic, either way) was used throughout, making it feel like one massive deck space as well.

Yes, it seemed loud, but then I also had no trouble hearing any of them speaking, which has not been the case on many other sea trials I've watched. Often, even the presenter wearing the mic is raising his voice to be heard. There was none of that here.

It really is an amazing feeling going fast on water. In my younger years, my friend and I had a trip out on a powerboat called ‘Safari Express’. When it got up onto the plane, it was dead smooth, until we hit a bit of chop. Then we had to hang on like grim death. It was like being on a bucking horse. The technology they use in the design of these new sports boats, is incredible. Thank you both. 👍

Gosh! What a boat. I do have a criticism though. The seat articulation mechanism needs external bellows to keep fingers, feet and arms (that really shouldn’t be there) well away from the mechanism.

You'd have to try incredibly hard to get a foot or an arm in there whilst keeping your full weight on the seat. 🙂

It's theoretically possible I suppose, but they could also hurl themselves off the side of the boat, lots of options if they are that keen to hurt themselves. For me the only thing that spoiled the sleek look was the exposed mechanism on the shock chairs - but I'm sure it would be pretty easy to design a shroud in keeping with the boat design that hides the ugly mechanism without hampering functionality.
