Doesnt look confy its too light, good for speed but not for confort or seaworthyness, the flaer makes it look beamyer but its not that wide down on the wotherline.

So I think the purpose of this design is to break new ground in terms of what can be achieved so they are not trying to be like other boats. The racing car mindset is very clear everywhere you look and therefore makes this hull ideal for less horsepower to achieve the same speeds. I’m guessing we will see brands like SAY be the pioneers with new hybrid and electric propulsion…. It’s not appealing to everyone because I don’t believe that’s the point. Kinda like driving a super car… hope that makes sense?

Interesting design. Beautiful but not practical. Swim platform drags in the water. No shade. No galley.

Yes they are not trying to be practical with this boat. It's more about beauty, performance and being exclusive. The hull is very interesting and would even make a good contender for electric propulsion for example. I was in Dubai last week and saw this boat and she fits in perfectly there with all the Lambo's and G Wagons parked on the footpath.

That viral video on haulover inlet destroy the reputation of that boat. No one will buy it if you see it.

I saw that. That was absolutely driver error. Any boat with a sharp cutting bow like this will always dive into a short sharp wave like that if you hammer it. If you look at the Volvo 70's in the Southern Ocean they do the same thing under sail and give you a wet ride. It was pretty clear to me that the driver of that boat was not paying attention to the conditions or his guests onboard.

I think it’s all relative. She’s been designed for Med cruising and does that job very well. But yes if you smash it out through Haulover in an outgoing ride you’re getting wet. This is try for most hull designs like this.
