Good video and it can be seen that the Meck-A-Nick is a good car repair guy. Its a shame when you see how people neglect the maintenance that machines need, and then they have to pay much more to try and makeup for their neglect. My dad used to work with a company building nuclear power plants. Workers would drop bolts and leave them lay so he'd pick them up and pack them home. I now have many five gallon buckets he left me, god rest his soul, and almost recycled them until I seen the cost for them grade 8 bolts.

I have a 01 accord ex 2.3 liter 4 cyl. It starts up and drives but recently starting stalling when I accelerate especially at low rpm. Sometimes it will do it and then jump up to speed. I just cleaned egr valve and port it still has same problem. Dash lights and everything comes on but it will sometimes just cut off all of a sudden. Any suggestions???

Theres a lot of things that could cause that. You have to start checking fuel pressure...check the ignition system

Yes it could be. Ive seen bad crank sensors cause cars to randomly turn off.

What if the car cranks, will not start and you cannot move the shifter out of park without putting a screw driver into the "bypass" switch? It will also not start in neutral.

Then you have to start checking to see if you have spark at the spark plugs and the injectors are spraying fuel. Make sure the tank actually has fuel in it

So I currently have no belts on my accord and have a full charged battery in it and it won’t stay on I have to hold the key and it will run rough what can be the cause my harmonic balancer is broken and off It won’t even stay on it I give it gas

Don't hold your key on to keep a car running. You can cause major damage. Replace your harmonic balancer and belt before trying to figure out why it won't stay running. "Put your socks on before your shoes"

Get all that fixed before worrying about why it won't stay running. If someone brought me a car like that I'd tell you all of this damage needs to get fixed before we can figure anything else out.

Please Help. I have a 1998 Honda Accord. My Temperature Gauge in the inside of the car dash- is not working. When the engine is started, after 2 minutes or so of driving, The temperature gauge goes to the half mark between cold & hot. I have replaced the Temperature Sensor. And it didn’t help. In additional I constantly adding Coolant to the radiator. And my car would shut-off while driving. I installed a new Fuel Pump & Fuel Pump Sensor. And I still have all the issues, the temperature gauge is not working. While driving the car will shut-off, or if you start the car, leave it running or idle/ it will shut-off. AND I’m still replacing coolant in the radiator. PLEASE HELP. no codes from the diagnosis check. Oh. About 2 years ago, I replaced the distributor. Thank

There isnt much i can do over the internet. If 2 mechanics cant figure it out id take it to a good shop that can figure it out so you dont keep wasting on parts you may not need. Id focus on getting the temperature gauge working first.

The immobilizer wouldn't make your car car shut off while driving. I think you have a different problem and you may have caused another issue. I'd reinstall that immobilizer....

Doesnt mean your fuel pump is working. You'll need to check for spark, injector pulse, fuel pressure,compression....

I have a Honda accord 2000 v6 lx, battery good , alternator new , but driving good out of nowhere on a stop , it starts shaking and shuts off , turns right back on like nothing tho , also at times the a.c. is the only thing to keep it on , but also sometimes it's the thing that makes the car turn off , im not sure crazy to explain it but helppp!!

Does the temperature gauge on the dash work? One sensor under the distributor is for the temp gauge on the dash ,the other is for the coolant temp for the ecm (engine computer)

The gauge in my cockpit reads cold like all the way down cold so I knew there was something wrong with the temperature gauge I just didn't know if that was the plug for it it looks like it's in the middle

I think I might have a bad distributor cap I still need to open it and check it out but finding out that that other plug was broken and that's why my car was reading cold I'll just replace that while I take out the distributor cap. I had the same issue a week ago crank no start on a 99 accord V6, through my utube research I arrived at the main relay, put in a new one NO FIX, then the fuel pump NO FIX! then the coil NO FIX! my car would start up fine but after warm up stall and not restart until cool, so then I checked the distributor cap and rotor and they looked like the pair in this video oil and all, so I installed a new pair and bingo FIX! so I worked ass backwards in the sequence of what to check 1st, wish I had seen this video 1st and not 200$ later

Sounds like no power. Check the battery or main fuse

I’ll check the main fuse , I did think it was the battery so I took it in to get checked and it was a bad battery so I bought one, so the main fuse would be the one that says “lg1 main” right in the engine fuse box

So i have a 02 accord 4 cyl sedan. After having it sit for 2 weeks and i went to start it it refuses to start the fuel pump wont come on and engine light is one. So it cranks and turns over perfectly but wont start. I have an obd scanner coming in the mail in 2 weeks but want to figure this out asap. I removed the fuel pump and connectes it to the battery directly and it comes on and works fine. I changed the main relay and it made no difference. when ever i connect the pump to the car it wont come on. Also even thought the battery is full whenever i crank the car in that breif moment all the lights come off and the clock resets. I canot even get windows to move. Any advise would help
