I have a 2003 f150 4.2 5-speed transmission and change the fluid at 60000 mi with 10 w-30 full synthetic motor oil and I have 140,000 miles on it now and getting ready to change it again, transmission shifting better with the synthetic oil than it did the factory oil

Nice truck. I got a 97 4.2L with 89k miles on it. had it for 19 years since I was 19 yo. Had it sit for a long time and cranked it. Very bad idea. I'm in the process of replacing the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel injectors and spark plugs. And I will also be doing a complete fluid change for the oil, transmission, power steering and brake.

Thanks for the vid! Shit was easy! Used a valvoline synchro mesh bottle, emptied the motorcraft trans fluid in there, and also the top with a radiator overfill tank hose 😎
