The best in the world in my opinion. It's got everything and no crap whatsoever. For what you get, each pick is actually two picks, and they come finished like custom lockpicks. Strong as you like, in 0.5mm or 19thou, and made for paracentric keyways, there's nothing to dislike. They're a worldwide hit for a reason, and 10% off means when he finally fixes his international export to Australia, I'll likely be dropping my wallet and all that's inside for it. See you in tax fraud prison, sandman, because I won't be recovering.

Your tools are truly remarkable because they are they are fine line between smooth and polish which is hard to achieve perfection for most. Profiles/thickness are suited across all. Having been acquiring tools for 35+ years, they are special. The only thing I can't be sure of is the extra taper (I think you call extra shank or something like this) ones mostly for simple wider/USA locks but if I had those then I'd be able to make a final call on best of best. I suspect they are though, so I have not been a bulldog on acquisition. Ilco short hook is the GOAT when finished on that specific category VERY hard to be better. Maybe yours beat it on that part. ? Also, I only am doing hooks no waves because IMO that is all that matters mostly in this category.
@rytanfan93medeco179 ай бұрын
One more thing we need additional graduated TOK bars. We need gaps filled on .08 to 1.0 between to 1.2, then 1.3-to-1.5mm and then 1.5mm to 2mm for perfection. Also, and I want to ask, will Moki consider making dimple flags not a wide array (waste of time) but maybe 4-5 best ever finished. I would buy all. Thank you.

Very nice and genuine in emails pry bar got here and there’s the pry bar and a Moki sticker with sorry mate written on the back. The shipping takes a bit but this is a great guy and company to deal with have no real way to even leave a review for him so I figured a call out on your video. Ordered a couple of weeks ago from Wendt and got my Moki explorer set with the AKAB 3 piece set and some extra picks. Unfortunately, Wendt sent a double which I did not need. Instead of a shallow point hook (which I kind of really wanted), I got a deforest diamond 1. I emailed them this weekend. I'm wondering how fast they can solve problems with their orders. As for Mok-Workshop. I've found the site after looking for 3D printable handles. Apparently I did not order enough of them for my picks. I'm thinking about getting a few more picks and add some other profiles to my collection. The new 3 set gem style hooks that you just showed, looked interesting. I might ask about those from Moki. I really want to try them out. Even if they are in their "beta" phase 😂 That lock disassembly kit from mok-workshop also looks interesting. I never took any of my locks apart and since green belt requires me to. I might indulge.
@mokislocksport512710 ай бұрын
Hey Mate, in case you cant figure things out with the wrong pick, please reach out to me, we get things sorted for sure. Also, the Lock disassembly kit is not invented or put together by me, its a set that exists for years now made by HUK Locksmithing tools from china. Though its a great kit and I wanted to stock since its a good all-in-one kit that gets you started with lock gutting very efficiently 🙂

@@mokislocksport5127 will do! Let's hope Wendt answers tomorrow. The picks are great btw.! So far I've been using cheap chinese sets and only recently upgraded to multipick and now to Moki. The contrast between something like Moki and the chinese sets is basically day ☀️ and night 🌃. I'll be reaching out later because of those Gem Hooks too that Sandman presented today.

My Mokis are almost all bent. Maybe I am Heavy handed, but how comes that my Jimmy Longs survived the usage without visible damages, most of my Multipicks are in good condition, but almost all of my Mokis are bent. For so much money they can keep IT for themselves.
@Brotherbrowning10 ай бұрын
Yeah man I think you’re being heavy handed or picking on the warding but that said Moki picks are aimed at being the right picks for euro locks that are hard to pick with the bigger thicker picks you may just need a little less tension and a more delicate touch
@johndow349010 ай бұрын
@@Brotherbrowning bro, I'm a lockie, and I live in Europe, so I think I know what's an euro, and whitch picks are compatible. Maybe I didn't had any luck with the Mokis, but my oldest Multipick set dates back to 2014, and is in good condition compared to its age. I don't Tell that the Mokies are crap, coz' I had amazing pickings with IT, but they are bent. However thanks for the good advices, maybe one fine day I'll buy a New set, and give 'em another chance
@mokislocksport512710 ай бұрын
Hey mate, sorry to hear that my tools dont work for you, but nontheless I am happy that you find your brand that works for you. I would like to add my two cents to your comment and the reply below: Multipicks from the date around 2014 are for sure 0.6mm picks, they released their 0.5mm series a few years later. My picks are currently all in 0.5mm so comparing two different pick thicknesses with each other is kinda unfair regarding strength. For Jimypicks (and I use them myself actually for the following reasons) are designed to be strong af, which comes with the price that the shaft hight is wider compared to most of my picks. They are crowbars but at least for the locks I pick (and which have been the reason why I started this project in the first place) they sometimes are limited in point maneuverability because of the shaft shape. This is not bad, they are great picks and I wish I could stock those in my shop to source more European folks with them. To cut it short, I went with more filigrane tips to have maximum reach, that comes with a price, too. One last thing: My handles are, as you might noticed, way longer compared to all your mentioned brands, which allows you to apply more leverage very easily. Its a thing I needed to get used to as well when I tested the first protoypes, so this could be a reasons as well that you picks got wrecked faster. But to have that said, I still use some of them and they do great after years or picking :-)
@johndow349010 ай бұрын
@@mokislocksport5127 thanks for your answer, I highly appreciate that! As I said I had amazing pickings with the Mokies, and I was happy Till that point where I noticed their changed shape. You can be right, maybe the length made the difference. One good news to you: all of them survive when they are hammered back to their original shape, and they Hold that shape for a while. The second Time they loose their flexibility, and get back to the bent shape after 3-4 pins. But they don't break! And if I may suggest I think you could make Some more dimple picks, maybe a whole dimple set, they are after my experience better in Some cases Than the Multipick ones (for the iner pins for Example)
