I found Mike when I was researching RK tractors and trying to decide what I wanted and needed. Kept watching and learned about using the tools, etc. I found Adam when I started researching Kioti tractors. Ended up buying a Kioti CK2610HST. Ive learned a lot from both of you and thank you for your contribution to the KZbin community. I probably won't start a firewood business but learning how to manage my little 4.5 acre wooded lot. Thanks guys!

My first firewood channel was Outdoors With The Morgans only because I searched ‘growing grass in the shade’. Since then, I’ve subscribed to Joe’s Ohio Wood Burner and Adam’s Hometown Acres. I enjoy watching you all ‘work’, but the quality of life content is the real ‘why’ I stay tuned. 👊🏻

So how's the grass in the shade?
@foreverbrownsfan3 жыл бұрын
@@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power - I actually had a landscaper use a special piece of equipment to plant under the soil. More sophisticated than a slit seeder. I lost about 70% of the beautiful grass from the spring, but will over seed next spring. That’s pretty much what Mike’s advice was......you have to keep attending to it each year. I went from bare ground , so I’m pleased.

I grew up in the country, climbing trees, building a fort in the woods, playing hide and seek in a corn field, the fun we had as children was endless. I still live in the country and would not change a thing. I enjoyed this video and meeting both Adam's. Thanks Mike!

I love the country. My wife and I bought my parents house when they moved to Arizona. I remember when I was a teenager renting the movie "Children Of The Corn" and then trying to get my brothers and sisters to play hide and seek in the corn field next door. LMAO, I guess you know that didn't happen any more.

It was so nice to see two of my favorite KZbin channel people together. Made me feel good about my choices. I would love to hear your thoughts on the Eastonmade Axis. That is the wood splitter we are buying next. I like the upright posture positioning so it doesn’t hurt my back like the one we have and I like the precise way you can cut wood without the waste. I know you are partial to Wolf Ridge and understandably so. But that Axis is a game changer in my opinion.

I'm right there with you guys about being close with nature. I grew up with a forest as my playground. Most every free moment I was in the woods, I had 2 treehouses one big rock fort and we dug out about a 15 foot long section of the creek near a tall bank so we could jump off bank and at the other side we had a rope where we could swing out and drop in. We, my brother, my cousin and 3 other guys, neighbors, all close to same age did a lot of camping also. It is really rewarding being away from trespassing in yards, traffic on roads, confined fenced in yards...to be out in the wide open forest is amazing. So many things to do. Grown up now there aren't many open forest close in Hickory, it's really crowded now so vacation time...the beach - 5 hr drive, hot, crowded, expensive...no thanks...30 min to 1 hr we are in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. No better place in the world! My children still take their families up there, my oldest son even bought a big camper and keeps it set up there in the Daniel Boone Campgrounds. Mike, you inspire so many people, more than you know, I'm sure. And none of the KZbin work is a have to, you're doing it because you enjoy it and by that you bring so much pleasure literally around the world! Thank you my friend. We've never met in person, but I see you every day, and you just are my friend! Absolutely love your channel, Melissa's channel, and Levi and Kate's channel. Forever subscribed! 👍❤

It is a great feeling to be out in the country and suck in a breath of real air while you look at the sky and the trees. I noticed neither of you park the dump trailers in the up position. I think a 4x4 about four feet long, between the bed and the frame will give you enough lift, but it will still be low enough to be stable when its parked, especially if it points to the sun, its usually empty and dry when you hook it up. The 4x4 prop takes all the pressure off the cylinder.
