I just don’t understand why the Chiefs would even do that. Why go for a coach who’s older then Reid, will rip the staff apart to put everyone in there to run it his way, instead of elevating someone from Reid’s own tree or getting another young coach that will be there for the next 10 years alongside Mahomes vs 2 or 3 and then you’re searching again? It’s just stupid. I get that it’s being floated out there with the rumors and everything, but if you really think about it, it just makes zero sense for KC to go for BB at any point if Reid were to retire (which I highly doubt).
