98cc long header pipe will make the bike faster?
Installed a long header pipe and a baffle on the Coleman 98CC powered
Rascal lite minibike to see if the pipe would add any performance.
Engine mods include a high lift cam, ARC billet flywheel, 19mm slide carburetor, high compression head, governor removal, and a header pipe.

I’ve noticed the same on mine that with a RLV slip on silencer. It actually goes faster and more torque than the same exhaust without the silencer.

Nice looking pipe! That muffler looks pretty restrictive…🤔

These small engines need a little backpressure and the muffler helps. On slightly modded engines it usually helps performance gains. Highly modified will decrease its power.

This is a weird one, the "Musical" note at top speed seemed to be an E... which puts it at around 41Hz, so multiplying that by 2 (for the 2 revolutions per pulse) and then by 60 to go from a second to a minute, gives me an estimated 4920rpm. I'm guessing you know the circumference of the tyre and definitely know the gear ratio. and probably how to figure it out... How close is my guess?

Im still trying to figure out why hes got to do all these modifications to get that much speed when i only did 3 things to my predator 212cc and it tops out at 74 mph in a minute flat

That's easy! It is a 98cc. I noticed he tests many different engines and engine sizes. Of coarse some will be faster than others. Its nice to know what one can expect from a given engine set up. Great channel!
