99-02 GMC Front Bumper/Clip Swapped To 03-06

I was wondering about your spacing up on the brackets. All the one we do in our shop we space up 1 1/2" up. It comes out tighter to the grille and fender edges and looks more stock. But you did a good job, as long as your happy.

My Sierra is a 01. My father in law and I did the front in conversion to an 03 but we used the stock 01 bracelets it didn’t mount up as clean as this. Assuming I just get the 03 brackets and weld them up? Where do the bolts go in at?

Did u use 03 gmc bumper support brackets or stock 99-02 bumper support brackets?

And the only thing you need is the bumper right ? Or you need the whole front end such as bumper, fenders, lights, hood etc ?

You will need the whole front end correct

If it’s a Sierra you only need the grill and bottom bumper everything else the same

If you have a 99-02 you will need brackets from the 03-06 and the grill and bumper. It’s basically the whole “take off “front from the 03 up.

It did for me. only difference is on my 99 it had little turn style clips all i did was remove those and the clips on the new grill clipped right into the same spot as the turn style clips
