Can actually be done on numerous Ford vehicles with a digital odometer. My 2005 Sport Trac does the same thing along with my 2004 BMW 325i. It is indeed a handy trick to have.

Can anyone tell me what the fuel option is reading? The link won't work but when u cycle through the cluster and it says fuel, for example in this video fuel is reading around 150, is that the fuel pressure by any chance?

FUEL= Displays the code (0-255) for the fuel sender input to the HEC. The fuel gauge will display a filtered fuel level value. This filter will keep the pointer from moving suddenly or erratically. 255= open send +/- 0 232= full stop +/- 0 215= Full mark +/- 10 178= 3/4 mark +/- 8 138= 1/2 mark +/- 7 93= 1/4 mark +/- 5 41= E mark +/- 4 54= Low Fuel (0-59) 0-18= short (0-20 max)

Sorry for the late reply. FUEL in this case is tank level not fuel pressure. You can check fuel pressure with a higher quality mechanic obd2 tester. You could also bleed the pressure release on the injectors. There is also a crash sensor in the trunk to prevent fire I’d check to make sure that is not tripped as this prevents fuel pump from turning on. There is info on that in the owners manual. You could alternatively check for voltage at the fuel pump to make sure it is actually activating. I’m not a mechanic but this is what I’d recommend doing from my experience.

Cut the Keep Alive Memory wire from the computer Just kidding, dont do that. I found it out when I accidentally cut the wire, but the engine just won't start well, like when you remove the battery for 1 day

Easy, insert the key and turn it before starting the car, leave it there for 10min. Should be fixed after that, They usually have a remote so the computer is prob getting confused. I had the same problem but I got tired of having to wait 10min everytime so I bought a remote.

Look up computer data lines mustang. Those pictures should show you how the obd is connected. Mine didn’t work from a mismatched ground. Check the voltage and ground wires to make sure it is getting power. If this is not it you can check the wires going to the pcm for continuity.

Yo I got a question the illumination lights in my dash and the air conditioner lights stopped working do u know what the problem could be?

Pretty sure it’s light blue + red. If you can get a wiring diagram for your vehicle look for instrument cluster circuit. On my diagram it’s called illum lamp feed. This goes through a fuse 37 in my case which is 5 amps. In battery junc. Box. Which is under the hood. If that’s not it I’d check all fuses with either a continuity test or visual inspection of the fuses.

OIL= Displays the code (0-250) for the oil pressure switch input to the HEC. Oil pressure gauge will indicate present oil pressure. Normal oil pressure (greater than 6psi) will display a value between 000 and 176. A low oil pressure or an inoperative engine oil pressure switch (less than 6 psi) will display a value greater than 176.
