The only downside to installing LED bulbs in your instrument cluster is that the LED bulbs are not dimmable. So if you find them too bright in certain conditions, you will not be able to dim them with your factory headlight dimmer. 🤨

Depends on dimmer type. Rheostat dimmer won't dim them, but electronic type will. They make led cluster lights that are dimmable too. I usually just check product description or Q&A's on Amazon.

@@flathead8534 Thus far I’m unable to find any dimmable cluster bulbs for my 2003 Mustang. I don’t want to add a electronic dimmer, so if you know what dimmable led bulb is available for my car, please let me know where you found them. Thanks!

I used Diode Dynamics. I ordered them from LMR.com. The catalog number on their site is DIO-9498194W-K

i only need one thing: a New, clear plastic lens that goes on top the cluster. can't find one anywhere for my 94 mustang gt.

I don't think the lens is available as a reproduction anywhere. Plastic polish, like you would use for fogged headlights, might work to clear it up.

I have never come across a replacement lens. You can get a reproduction cluster but they are really expensive.

Good to know. Ford made so many small changes to these cars through the years. I have run into that too where the 1994 to 2004 part doesn't fit a certain year.
