We are playing Mario Kart Wii at 9x Speed while running CTGP with 200cc. The goal was to defeat my 200cc all tracks speedrun record of 57:07! Our previous 99,999cc speedrun was 57:16 so this was a massive improvement. I'll try this again in another 6 months or so!

On Desert Hills, you can take the hill angled slightly to the right. If you collide with the block, you'll land in a perfect spot to take the hill skips. I've got a 12.5 second lap with this strategy. It is a bit risky since missing the block loses about 4 seconds (2 from not attempting the shortcut), but with a bit of practice, you can consistently get it all 3 laps.
