I agree with a lot of what you are saying, however, it generally works on needy and codependent personalities. There has to be a balance between wanting to gain someone's attention and also being present and not attempting to use manipulation to gain that attention. It may yield you a few dates here and there but not necessarily meaningful relationships and can over time showcase to the right woman you are not making yourself available. I was like this after a nasty breakup when I was younger and was very focused and commanding on my behavior and had hundreds of dates. When I met my wife a switch went off in my head and that game instantly melted away. I can almost run a parallel to your words and an old Will Smith movie, Hitch. Play the game and you will alienate the right woman. Don't play the game and you make yourself vulnerable. The key is knowing what you want. Do you just want to date and have fun or are you looking for a relationship? Your method works for one, not the other. Or you may just end up in an extremely toxic relationship.
