What is the answer to 4÷4÷4÷4? This repeated division viral math equation may stump your thinking for a short period of time. It looks like simple math, but if you do not know where to start, it may lead you a unknown results. In this high school math tutorial, I showed the correct method to solve it. I showed 5 different methods, and they provided individual results.
In this type of math problem, one has to start from left to right to solve the problem. We followed the method and we found the correct answer is 1/16

7÷7÷7÷7÷7÷7÷7 = 1/[7^(7-2)] = 1/7^5= 0.000059499 If 'm' is repeatedly divided by itself 'n' times (m÷m÷m÷............÷n), the formula to determine the result of this series is 1/[m^(n-2)].

if you have x repeated n times with divisions (I'm not sure how to correctly specify that), the answer is 1/x^(n-2), so 7x7x7x7x7x7x7 is 1/7^5 Also, why did you say that Method 4 (not the answer from method 4, but method 4 itself) is wrong?

Method 4 itself is wrong but the outcome result which is 1/16 from the method 4 is correct.
