After “4(5-5) = 5(5-5)”, you need to handle the parenthesis first. 5-5 is 0 on both sides, but instead of eliminating them because of this, you rewrite it as “4(0) = 5(0)”. 4x0 is 0 and 5x0 is also 0, making the final answer “0 = 0” all over again.
