I don't think it's the case that they aren't portraying him, it just that you have to take the time to get to know him. If you went by interviews especially about music, most only see the serious, professional side.

I know what you mean. They always portray suga as cold... but I’ve been army since 2015 and it was weird to me that new armies saw that... until i realised it had to do with the compilation videos. Another narrative is that Jin is lazy, Jungkook hates Jimin, Taehyung is always so baby, and there’s not much on hobi besides that he is always happy. I love Yoongi, his personality are awesome. When people start to react to bts, he always comes out as the hard and quiet one. But he is so funny and has a heart of gold.

My favorite tweet about Yoongi came about because of BTS' appearance on Ellen. She did a prank on the show where someone jumped out of a box and 6 of the boys reacted, but Yoongi just sat there without any change of expression. Someone on twitter captioned the video clip with "What happened to Yoongi in Daegu?"

Min Yoongi has a wry sense of humour that shows how world savvy he is. He can ham it up when he chooses to. And that is so healthy. He is also respected by older peers, like Lee Hyun, the guy who appeared in one the VLives, BigHit’s senior solo artist.

Hi Chalfant! Yoongi is so unique. I love his personality. When Hobi and Suga get together I think it brings out the goofier side of him. I agree that watching the V-live videos of the boys shows more of their personalities. Also, RUN BTS, Bon Voyage, In the Soop show Yoongi's unique self. 💜

Yoongi's vlives are actually always so warm and cozy. During lockdown he created a "radio show" for 2 months, where he was reading stories for us and invited guests (other members)

Suga didn’t grow up in poverty. His parents just didn’t support his choice of music. So he had to support himself in order to pursue his dream.

His family was also not rich. He talks about it in early vlogs and interviews. It's coz of that poverty, his family was reluctant to support him in pursuing music. He said in order to overcome the poverty, his family wanted him to be a civil servent and have a stable job.

just a question when you do translations do you get them from a native korean speaker or vlive translations? because the translation apps dont translate well they do okayish but the guys have told us many times not to use translation apps because it doesnt always translate well. the translators on twitter said the same its very hit or miss theres been times armys would write loving messages and it would translate to something hateful so just a heads up. thats why we say to always use doolsetbangtan for lyrics because a lot of lyric channels google translate and lose the meaning badly.
