It was maddening watching the motorcycle rider around 6:30 not just pull over for a second to let you pass. I can understand when it's someone in some lame commuter car as they just don't get it but obviously if your on a bike, you are an enthusiast, let the man pass.

Matt, It was great meeting you at the stop that day. the guy on the aprilia had shared this video and wanted to stop by and say hi. I had actually posted video from the run we got after you had pulled out. Thankfully it was a clean pass and the crossfire group was parked in one of the overlooks. Maybe we will cross paths again. Great video by the way. Your car truly sounds amazing.Take care

I'm so happy you share these experiences. My family and I decided to take a road trip in August to the Cherohala Skyway and Tail of the Dragon. My mom just got a new car, Tesla Model 3 Performance, and my brother and I convinced our parents to put it to the test. It was an amazing experience and got to visit Snowbird Lodge and Tapaco Lodge. Such nice people!!! I'm glad I watched your previous videos to plan my trip because it made it all the better.

Great video. These are epic roads and personally I won’t get tired of driving down these roads all day long for the rest of my life, so building a house then a community around that area as you suggested sounds so so good and very tempting. @@typ8723 What? Where do you live that it's legal to cross a double yellow?
@routeomega70595 жыл бұрын
@@sebastianspalding5016 Double yellow is a no passing zone. You have to keep in mind that driver education in the U.S. sucks. There's only one test to pass when you turn 16, and no continuing education. So states create driving laws to accommodate for the inattentive, uneducated, and just plain incompetent. That ruins it for the rest of us. All these great driving roads in this country, and they're full of people who have no business being on them. Like the Crossfire Club.

You're a really cool guy who knows a ton more about cars than many so called car guys on KZbin. Very relaxing to watch you drive, skillfully taking these curves. The 911 speedster of this generation has individual throttle bodies, compared to the single throttle body of the gt3 you get a tad more throttle responsiveness. Is this something you might consider doing on your new gt3 rs? The rs might have this already, i only know about the gt3 for sure. Drive safe

I spent like 2 hours writing you an email explaining why you should read past the first line and how I’d “joked” with you about coming to work for you since long before that was something that seemed reasonable to ask to anyone else, as I was just asking a KZbinr with OCD to let me come work for free and film/do editing etc. I’m amazed at how well this blew up, behind everything there’s a “condition” that gets the best of many men of all types and you’ve managed to channel it into all the right places & learn you need to leave some things to the chaos that is life etc. and I just hope you recognize how well you’ve managed this and give yourself some credit and hopefully eventually talk more to people that might benefit from hearing how you personally handled the battle. Having said all that, the point of my email was to try to “pitch” a couple ideas I’ve had that really encompass the spirit of the motivating factors that drive you to do so many things the way you do them. I think you’ve seen how that hyper-focusing thing we do allows us insights into seemingly mundane things that DO have real world value to every day normals that use the same products but don’t dive into the minutia of every nook and cranny. The pressure washer project is a decent example as is most of the surrounding ecosystem. It just so happens there’s people pulling their hair out for similar answers and finding nothing but great things to say about everything because 99% of the Internet is fake or paid reviews & there is a plethora of micro brands and the like mixed about with new offerings from a record number of brands in every segment and somehow the ones producing diamonds in the rough are getting drowned out by sheer volume and companies that spent 0 on R&D and can afford stupid marketing blitzes to buy their customers. There’s also basically nobody left that serves the Consumer Reports role & the void left behind by their inability to keep up and adapt. On a macro level obsessed as a brand above/beside obsessed garage (branding can change obviously) could waltz right into a buyout from DT Publishing media group, I mean why let Vox do it when you can be Vox Media’s equal instead of its minion like the verge. Standing for something and not letting your name be bled for anything less than the level of detail provided by Anandtech as an example is so simple, it’s just not easy when cheaper routes are being dangled in front of you. But purity of vision eliminates that. I’m describing the final form effectively instead of trying to give a micro level example that comes across as a cheap idea. There’s no rush, but there’s no reason not to start, discussing what that looks like is step one with anything as you know, and are likely neck deep in but hopefully getting some relief from having tangible progress to sink your teeth into as far as OG. Even if you only took this as far as a single industry you’d be all but given the keys to the kingdom as there simply is NO true/complete operation even trying to supply consumers with some ability to do due diligence without becoming obsessed and doing what we’ve done so many times for so many products to get to the truth. The manufacturers are all but begging for someone to step up, throwing silly sums at youtube and Instagram “influencers” with followings a tiny fraction of the size of that which most adjacent industries consider the bare minimum...but time has moves at a different pace here it seems. Perfect place to start and just so happens to have a ridiculously high crossover rate with people interested in cars. I felt like my email was just too much information and just didn’t know how to salvage it so I put it in the drafts. This “condensed” form will hopefully/almost certainly get enough of my point across for you to get a glimpse of what I’m tossing around, if you happen to be interested/willing to have a chat and toss it around just let me know. I’ve got all the time in the world for a short moment in life as I transition into whatever I decide to do next, so I am kind of desperate for my next project.
