I have a 2020 G70 2.0T, I've had mine nearly 3 years and the car has been excellent! I purchased the vehicle and hope to keep it long term, I have almost 50K miles on it and it has been trouble free! Nice job Genesis!

@@Iegend17 dos it stay in gear why did they remove the shifter tiptronic so annoying i heard it auto down shifts even in manual mode. my g80 stays in gear no matter what !

Nice review..but u keep referring to the 3.3T....if you are reviewing the 2.0t then keep it focused to that trim and compare if at all to other auto makers with similar 2.0t trims , cant compare a 4cyl to a v6 or a v6 to a v8 IMHO ...if we wanted the 3.3t review then we would watch another review for that trim. Still good review thank you for doing this for us 👍

Nice review! We have the 23 G70 AWD 2.0 Sport prestige in black w/ red leather interior. Not sure all the negative comments on the interior, I find it very nice. The seats are comfortable, the switch gear has a quality feel and everything is well thought out w/ placement of the buttons and switches. The overall interior has a high quality feel, not cheap at all and not overly done like so may models these days, but to each their own :)

I like genesis Hyundai and Kia very reliable had them for decades. 150,000 km on the odometer. but Genesis is very underrated brand among other luxuary cars.

I do agree but people think it’s a Hyundai. I know what they mean because when you drive a BMW or a Benz it’s totally a different feeling. Id rather be in a Benz than a Genesis but Koreans and Japanese luxury brands have the best bang for the buck cheaper. More features and cool new features. I would take Genesis over let’s say an Acura. I don’t care about reliability because Genesis has the 10 year warranty. Acura is just a Honda. Lexus is a Toyota. But Genesis is a Hyundai. I think they did put time and effort into building their luxury brand unlike Lexus and Acura

Well newsflash... Next year's base G70 will carry the 2.5 300HP engine from stinger gt line. No news about a refreshed interior though but I would imagine there will be changes.

Not much changes but the small changes they made are ones that I wish I had. My wife has a GV70 and for 2023 the G70 gets the leather stitched GV70 wheel. The 2024 G70 also gets the frameless review mirror and the touch climate controls. But imo the older models look better with thr 3 dials. It doesn't look dated to me at all and it makes it all easy to adjust and access while driving. It's a very driver centric car

The best 2.0 g70 was the one with three pedals. The new 2.0 auto is boring. Next year, they are shoe horning the 2.4t from the elantra N line in there

@@Iegend17 ofc i have been in both but it’s style is more elegant and its better quality than the mercedes the c300s feel cheap inside and everything makes noises even if you take an incline 😂 my aunt drives a c300 2023 for a daily and i love the ambient lights but man mercedes has to do something about the quality , and about the 3 series i was looking between the genesis 2.0 2023 sport pack or the 2022 bmw 330i ended up with the genesis 2.0 bmw warranty is so little time and i got 5y with genesis and carr has been great its been 4 weeks 💪🏽
