BMW can call it a compact SUV but it’s really a hatchback. I guess 50,000 for this hatchback isn’t bad when Volkswagen wants over $44,000 for the Golf R. The Golf R has a more modern layout but it still doesn’t look better than (or even as good as) the BMW’s “dated” interior. If the dated interior looks fine and keeps the price down, then that’s ok by me. Plus, BMW did a great job on this car’s exterior, making a fun car that doesn’t look juvenile.

Sadly there is still no digital cockpit, just like in the x1. I had hoped since the new 1 series and 2 series grand coupé 🤔 share the same platform with the x1 and x2, they would have at least upgraded the interior of the x1 and x2 to be as advanced like their other sibling entry level cars🧐🤨(the ambient lighting, the digital cockpit)

I like the dash. It looks retro BMW. I like the simplicity of it as well. This is a Driver's car, not a video game. Kudos to BMW for not caving in to the Smoke and mirrors of the digital world. Having said that, they could have at least had LED turn signals.

those extra little ponies are needed because of the weight. Noone cares about fuel economy when just wanna "go fast" however is does get less fuel mpg than X2. It's nice to ripe around town in the wife's M35I! If I want to fly I'll just take my Ducati! I'd have to drive the MDX it to compare it. 👍🏻

nonsense... just bought an x2 m35i. It's my 5th BMW (two 330xis, a 135i and a z3 3.0i). Only had one problem with one of the previous 4 (a vanos solenoid failed... fixed under warranty). Otherwise my 4 were bombproof!

German cars are always better around the world. Right here in United States we don’t get the fully loaded ones and they are expensive if you start adding packages. There some features are standard

@@Iegend17 Believe it or not, the car I mentioned has a starting price for $30,000. Models go from 114d, 116d, and 118d. Keep in mind it was a rental. Still, I’m disappointed. That car reminded me of a Volkswagen Golf, but with luxury features.
