Just got an idea and gave it a try. I think the results clearly slow that it is doable, cheap and easy to do, as long as you have a pillar drill or something that mimics the same movements.

Looks like you just need to sand the shaft a little so the cases dont get stuck

Good morning Bryant and thanks for stopping By the channel👍🙏. I have been using exclusively this method for all my depriming tasks and have a couple of other pins that are used, dependable on what caliber I am processing. I have since polished the tip and I would say that stuck cases is almost a thing of the past. I also tend to put a drop of oil on the tip, say once every 100 cases. It is a simple method, rudimental at best but it dose the job well. Take care and have a great weekend.

This one here was just an idea that came to me out of the blue. I have created, fixed and fabricated several things. I work within the engineering and telecommunication sector but have have no engineering or machinist degree. Nonetheless, I am very familiar with engineering tools and have few at my place. I can operate successfully the majority of tools found in commercial plants. Thanks for being an active member

Can I ask, after fired, and I wash them clean for a while with detergent and things. Is it safe to decap?

Hi. Thanks for stopping by the channel🥇🥇👍👍 When the rounds are fired, even without washing them you can safely decap. They will have residues that can be harmful if inhaled so I would do decamping in the a well ventilated place and also use gloves. Here, the cases I am decaping are coming directly from the range.
