Decap deprime 9mm without a press

I deprime off my progressive press and dont have a single stage press yet.I like clean my brass first so i get better priming feed on my lee pro 1000. Of course you can reload without cleaning your brass but with the lee pro 1000 he cleaner your brass the smoother it will run because it doesn't take much soot to make the primer feed stuff up.Anyways hope this makes it easier or is handy for someone.

80% of the comments completely failed to hear or just ignored the part where you said you like to deprime before you clean the brass. it makes sense if you want to only clean the brass once.

Suggestion, get a wooden block, drilled a hole for primer to drops down...on the opposite side of the block drilled and open the hole out create more space for collecting primer..good on you mate.

Hi. If you take a 15 inch piece of 2 inch by 4 inch (or 6) board and drill a 3/8 inch diameter hole at the halfway mark, then put your socket over that hole, you can contain many more dead primers!

That's all well and fine but how are you resizing your brass? unless you are in a true survival mode I don't see why anyone would risk safety…. especially when it is very affordable to reload on a budget with minimal equipment.

You have to resize anyway so this is a much lengthier process..

If you're going to reload with any efficiency at all, you'll need a press. I've never cleaned brass with thousands of successful reloads; I get it that some find it important. It's all good. Thanks for the vid though.

Iv done it this way before, when I didnt have any reloading tools. You should check out the Frankford Arsenal Handheld Deprimer, it works really great and keeps the mess off your press.

You still have the Resize!! The first die for the process Resizes and deprimes.
