For hyla japonica, do fruit flies reproduce alone in the ecosystem or do they have to be added weekly?
@ferretwonderland Жыл бұрын
Fruit flies can reproduce on their own in the enclosure, provided that the environment is suitable for them. However, the rate of reproduction may not be sufficient to sustain a consistent food source for the Hyla Japonica frogs, especially if there are multiple frogs in the enclosure. Therefore, it may be necessary to add fruit flies or other food sources regularly to ensure that the frogs are getting enough nutrition.

Hello, I am currently looking for beautiful design ideas and came across your vivarium. I would like to use it as a guide, but I have a question: you write that the tank is 30x30x50 cm, so I thought the frogs would be suitable for my vivarium. However, I read everywhere in the keeping conditions that the minimum size for Hyla chinensis is 80x50x80, which means that this species is out for me. Do you have any idea which species would be suitable for my vivarium size (50x50x50) ? Kind regards
