hey, I wanted to restore my iPhone XS but the normal method didn't work so I tried DFU mode. In the Finder on my Mac it says that its downloading updates for the iPhone but i updated it to iOS 14.1 yesterday ?? it has now been loading for over an hour, should I quit DFU mode and try something else ? @@MrViri510 hey! After saving my iPhone on a Mac i went to an Apple Store and they did a « diferent » sort of DFU mode and it worked !! So maybe its a special software that they have there but i would recomend you to go to an apple store if you can. Hope you find a solution

Just for a case, the problem happened when IVI app tried to be installed on my iPhone when I installed it on my iPad. It frozen in “Waiting” mode for a long time, then all installed apps started to crash.

Best and updated way to enter iTunes mode turn off your phone completely then continue by tap up volume button then tap volume down button then hold down power button while is plug to your laptop with iTunes open Good luck 👍
