He hasn't even bought Twitter and Twitter is less toxic already. I believe his politics are in between the left or right (Centrist). They are my politics, but I like the result.

I said that since Elon Musk has made an offer on Twitter that when I engage people in US Constitutional issues fewer people are calling me names, not that I am engaging with fewer people. I've had Parkinson's for over 26 years and when it came about that I couldn't type on a computer anymore I had to retire. I became bored and started studying the US Constitution. Sometimes when I see something stated wrongly about the US Constitution or a lack of understanding of the US Constitution I gently try to show them what the US Constitution actually says. Unfortunately because I can't type or can barely type on my iPhone I use dictation which is very tiring, takes a long time, and can be problematic.

Might've been said already but if you're on a Mac, do not try this with the USB C to Lightning cable, it will not work. Use the USB A (big rectangle) to Lightning cable instead. I'm not sure why this is but I wasted an hour and a lot of frustration to find this out.

@@J.Tronix Congrats my dude! @Dave Boy From my limited knowledge, that technique when getting a new device is only for Lithium Polymer batteries, not the case for Lithium Ion batteries. With Li-Ion batteries it supposedly doesn’t matter, I still like to charge it to full before the first use and then use it like normal from there on out. (For the record i’ve been getting the newest iphone since the iphone SE 2020 and i’ve maintained really good battery health by the time the next one comes out).

no, no extternal software loads in DFU mode. It is bare bones uses for restoring firmware. It is the same as a BIOS on a computer. If it is a really advance malware it technically can load in the bootloader, but this is unheard of in iphones , much less MacOS viruses

Does dfu only work on Mac? Could it work on a hp pavilion? I have a iPhone se 2 that won't go passed the apple logo. When I hard reset it it tell me to plug into iTunes. Things have evolved since this video. The latest version of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS allows you to DFU Update, rather than do a DFU Restore. An updated video on this topic would be welcomed.

Thanks for the video. I can’t get my iPhone (the touch screen is not working) to recognize the cord. The toughest part is that people don’t do the last step long enough. The rule is 10 seconds, but “hold until it shows up in iTunes” is more like it. In my experience, it can take as long as 30 seconds.

For anyone a little confused (at least I was and I had a few tries before I figured it out) In step 3 they say to press and release the side button and continue to hold the VOLUME DOWN BUTTON, when i did mine, I had to press both down and the release the VOLUME DOWN BUTTON so i was still holding the side button, at the end of the video I watched you hold down the VOLUME DOWN BUTTON and then say to release the side button, so anyone in confusion I hope this helps, press both, release volume down button and continue to hold the side button until this pops up!

I have a compass glitch that effect all gps apps like Pokémon Go, Maps, and Google Maps. It always shows me facing 45 degrees difference from reality. It started on my First Gen SE I had years ago after I dropped it really hard, bought a 6S Restored from iCloud back up, and I recently got a 12 Pro Max and still 45 degrees off in a GPS App. I'd be nice to have this fixed on such an expensive device.

I’m pretty sure I tried just logging in and redownloading my apps, but seems something deep in in settings got synced. It shows true when I’m moving fast in a car, but when walking or biking the compass is offset on map apps and Pokémon Go.

I am getting error 9. Apple and some stores say its unfixable HOWEVER, I have seen KZbin videos and read comments of people thinking their device was a goner from error 9 and being able to restore it. This video is wrong it just doesn’t work on my SE. All you do is keep holding the side button, after you’ve pressed the volume buttons, go past the Apple logo and then the restore icon appears. Then let go of side button.

Yes that is because that's not dfu mode. That's recover mode 2 different things. One is working inside of the kernel the other outside. Dfu mode you can potentially bypass the firmware kernel to downgrade upgrade etc restore you cannot. The new usb-c is trying to phase out customers going into dfu mode hence why the iphone 15 is only usb-c. Theoretically eliminating alot of jailbreaking methods and know a usb adapter will not work once they drop a new patch.

Guys, very IMPORTANT: Follow these steps: 1st: Hold both the side and the volume down button at the same time for 10 seconds exactly 2nd: release the side button and maintain holding the volume down button. Do this UNTIL you find in your mac that notification that appeared to them, and that little pop up screen, only then release the volume down button
