@@d3m0n228 Reset bios to stock values, check drivers in windows and check temperatures. You can then install PBO2 TUNER and test the best values per core, mine can go -30 in all cores, you run less W and less temps with negative values and get more high stable Ghz. The power plan in balance mode.

@@serban2139 use Ryzen Master, let it analyze the stability for an hour or so, then set the Curve values at your taste. Mine were at -30 but after a couple of CPU errors I set them to -24 and it's been stable until now.

All of these means nothing. You can’t simply replicate some guy’s setting of the internet. It all depends on the silicon you got, so you’re better off trying to offset according to what your cpu can handle.

Following this guide I can run it at 4,05 Ghz, using about 25watts less power than normally but performance is lower from 15-20% versus stock. (Cinebench and 3DMark Cpu benchmark)

It didn't work for me, so I set all cores to -28 in PBO2 because it froze during idle at -30. Now I will test -28.

What is the main difference in setting Curve Optimizer offset for all cores with 10-30 negative. PBO 2 turner and do this settings in the video? For 5700xd, nowadays I use the offset -20 from my motherboard.

When running at 4.4 to 4.6GHZ it's essentially a 5800X3D, no? Will running at ~1.3v produce similar temps to a 5800X3D as standard or do they run a little cooler due to being binned better? I know the 5800X3D genrally runs quite hot anyway.

5700x3d is locked at 4150 and 4050mhz, the only way to get more is with BCLK and you can´t go past 102 without ruining the rest of the PC componets, like GPU and SSD errors.

If put 1.0500V vcore override, the real frecuency drop to 3.4Ghz (hwinfo effective clock), cpu core ratio don't effect with X3D. -30 All core is the only solution for max undervolt with frequency stock (4.05Ghz) plus -0.05 offset.

I couldn't follow this tutorial as I have a gigabyte b450m-ds3h-v2 which has a totally different bios and couldn't find the settings. I used PBO2 tuner instead and set a -30 curve and got better temps. My question would be: do you have any recommendations for the PPT TDC and EDC limits?

Hey...I know it might sound like a stupid question..but do you need to do any extra shinanigans with 5700x3d to ensure that the 3d V cache is working? I have a B450 Tomahawk Max, updated BIOS to the newest version and downloaded AMD chipset drivers. Not sure if I am seeing results I was expecting therefore making sure I didn't miss on anything

No, just install the latest chipset for your cpu and that's it. 5700x3d only has a single CCD no need to goof around with it, it will automatically use the CCD with 3d v-cache since it only has one.

Thanks, for the undervolting video. I have a Ryzen 5600 and a 3060 TI. I‘m not sure if it‘s a good idea to replace the 5600 for gaming with a 5700x3D or just a waste of money because of the low performance of the graphic card.

I’d say you definitely need at least a RTX 3070 to see a noticeable difference, unless you’re playing at an insanely high refresh rate. So upgrade your GPU first!
