the Asiatic Bear one with the guy having to cut off his arm to free himself from the bear's grasp reminds me of Aron Ralston. He was the guy who had to cut off his arm with a small knife to free himself from a boulder that was crushing his arm. That has to be one of the most brutal thing to experience. Well, it was actually hand held video camera that only ecorded the audio. As far as I know, only two persons that have listened it: Timothy Treadwell's ex girlfriend and movie producer Jewel Palovak that owns the tape(she was Treadwell's beneficiary) and german film director Werner Herzog. Originally Herzog had thought of using it in his documentary film "Grizzly man", but after listening to it he found it so traumatizing that he told no one should ever hear it.

I remember watching River Monsters, Jeremy Wade was in Alaska and he encountered a Teenage Kodiak Bear... IIRC They said that the Bear was about 400 and it had no fear of humans, they even shot a warning shot right next to it (with a .50 cal) and it didn't even flinch. So good luck with that lol

So my cousin got in trouble with local fishing game back in the 80's because she was feeding and taking care of a few bears (she called them her big babies) but she refused to stop and because she WAS keeping them from going into town for food they got her a wildlife license she did that for 25 years before she passed away and the bears were very happy those years. So yeah small white woman are crazy (she was 4'8 and feeding full grown grizzlies lol)
