Holland America Alaska Cruise on Nieuw Amsterdam (Cruise Ship Tour and Vlog)

We were on this cruise in late August. It was a great experience to travel with our adult children. We loved the itinerary with Glacier Bay and Hubbard Glacier. We thought the dining room was great, Tamarind was excellent, and the buffet very convinent although not quite as fresh as the dining room. A great experience experience on the Neiuw Amsterdam.!

We sailed on her also out of Whittier 1-6 Sept 2024. Enjoyed our visit back to Alaska with HAL and the new route we took. We stayed in a Neptune suite and truly enjoy this level of service. Your video shows hardly any passengers, not the same from our experience. Thanks for sharing.

Such a pleasure to watch your videos !!! This one is another winner !!! When we cruised this same itinerary on Princess in Sept. 2024, we were not able to visit Hubbard due to inclement weather. Therefore, with HAL's guaranteed glacier viewing policy (which is SO NEAT !), we plan on booking HAL for this coming Alaksa season, mainly to see Hubbard Glacier. In your opinion, is Hubbard Glacier the most spectacular glacier in this itinerary ? Thanks to both you and your lovely wife for all your travel expertise and truly enjoyable videos !!!

Just got back from an Alaskan cruise on this ship. Had a wonderful time. The food was exceptional! A balcony stateroom is a must on an Alaskan cruise.
