Lyrics Tell myself everyday that I'm okay Hope the Smile on my face doesn't show pain It doesn't show pain This is for the ones who are brave The ones who gave up but you chose to stay I'm done with feeling fed up Man it's hard to keep your head up In my darkest time as my depression develops I wanted to die, I wanted to escape Wipe these tears from my face and i'll just run away Embedded in my mind where my fears run deep I might be strong I've got memories of being weak I say that it's nothing and it doesn't mean a lot I say I'm okay when you know I'm clearly not I'm giving you a warning I'm sick of the performing I cry at night mind to smile in the morning Depressed, Sad, Lonely and confused Angry and I'm mad but i must have all bruised Thats what my depression is Terrified to always live Everytime I break down they tell to build another bridge Tell myself everyday that I'm okay Hope the Smile on my face doesn't show pain Hey It doesn't show pain You're young and you shouldn't be confused You hate the fact is that your always in this mood Please dude Someone needs you And if you open your eyes let them see you And if you close that book let them read you Cuz i know you messed up and i believe you I know what its like Rope wrapped around my throat Its when i can't even breathe Someone show me the hope In this black and white world True colours show Change your pigment but keep your eyes a glow Late night walk Its that late night thought They dreaming everyday Now they say its your fault Ninety seconds tryna change on the mood swing Suicide doesn't help it only ruins things Show me all your blueprints What ya cool kids, yeah Now your putting in the effort and you should have know better Smile on my face aint nothing but pressure You won't be here forever But what you gotta remember Is what you gotta remember Is be strong Don't be weak Stand up Find your feet Be that person that you wanna be The person that you wanna see Remember this Man, The person i'm talkin about that is ME Tell myself everyday that I'm okay Hope the Smile on my face doesn't show pain Hey It doesn't show pain Tell myself everyday that I'm okay Hope the Smile on my face doesn't show pain It never shows pain

He's an excellent ambassador por kids in that age group bc if you look at him you'd think his life is 'perfect.' He's tall, handsome, and fit. But, you never know what goes on behind those eyes. What an excellent way (writing and rapping ) to convey your pain. I think it is much better than self destructive behavior such as drinking, taking opioids, or other drugs. Thought I’d put this out there, I’m a singer song writer who has also written a lot of raps about this recently, after my mate passing away tragically and my other mate committing suicide all just after I had come out of hospital things weren’t looking up at all. Still battling on a daily basis, a number of people suggested I show my works on a show like this and I’m even more inspired after seeing this guy perform. I was listening to him and felt like it was my mate describing how he felt before he ended it all. Brilliant work. If anyone needs a helping hand or going through anything at all leave a comment here I’d talk to you for the rest of the year just to show you your worth and to show that someone cares, and to prevent another tragedy. 18 year old from Dublin here. Cheers
