What did you dislike about Paris? Do tell. I am planning a trip to France .
@OsoCaliforniano2 жыл бұрын
@@debrafrost8336 Hey Debra, I gotta be honest. From hour one we were treated badly and everyone was rude to us we encountered. I studied a bit of French so i tried to use it because i thought it was the fact i was speaking english but that made things worse. The first bar i went to asked if we are americans, once we said yes he told us "americans drink outside" he then brought us two Heinekens and stood behind us till we finished them and demanded 20€. He told two girls at the bar we bought them a drink and asked us to leave. At the hotel we got charged 360€/night for a cramped dirty/dusty room. We got stopped by the police outside our car and when they found out where we were from they asked "you guys like hiphop? Yes? Wheres the Marijuana?"... i could go on and on. We planned for 5 days left after 2. Lyon was a paradise in comparison (only saw one person stabbed in the guillotine neighborhood). Still heaven compared to Paris.

@@OsoCaliforniano Wait....you saw someone stabbed in Lyon??
@ferdinandff1736 Жыл бұрын
@@OsoCaliforniano I guess everyone experience cities different. To me, paris was a fairytale. I mean, i love Architecture, especially older ones. People were not rude to me, even though I am not French. Mostly natural, which I don’t mind, but of course, my trip is not necessarily representative of everyone’s experience.

Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
