Why not? At the end of the day, that man gave us Steelers fans many memories and so much happiness. Hating on former players has turned into some massive cult amongst Steeler fans and media at this point. If we’re gonna hate on AB for off the field stuff, hate on Ben too. AB was struggling and he’s turned it around, it’s time to stop hating on the guy now.

DeAngelo Williams spent years as a Panther and was a very good Steeler. If he arrived in Pittsburgh earlier, he would up there with Jerome Bettis and James Farrior as among the best FA Steelers ever. But he's still up there in my eyes.

2 things. AB left in a painful way, but he was a God tier WR. I’ve never seen one better. Even when mike Mitchell does something good by causing a fumble, he does it in a stupid way by celebrating with the play still live.

Definitely. Don't really understand. He showed great attitude when Wallace was being greedy. Pitt gives him the money. He blows up and then eventually melts down. Why ? Because Juju had more yards one year. He still had roughly twice the td's.

After an 11 year career I think Williams was ready to retire but I remember some great moments from him in Pittsburgh and in Carolina. This is the stuff I point to when I say that Bell was a product of a system in Pittsburgh. Williams filled in for him several times and had numbers just as good as Bells, while being a FA pickup and newer to the system.

Ah man, I'll never forget this game. Had just moved back to Western PA after living in North Carolina for a few years. One of the first things I did when I got back was put on my Steelers jersey and headed to my favorite hole in the wall bar in my hometown. Needless to say, I was having severe Steelers withdrawal. They put on a hell of a show for us, so much so that we had people buying everyone in the bar rounds when we finally won. Also, I had AB and DeAngelo both starting for me that week in my fantasy lineup. Good times.

Possibly even better ;) Last but not least, what a sad sad shame to see Martavis Bryant no longer a Steeler. My lord Steelers fans are beyond stupid. Bell was HoF caliber in Pittsburgh, being unhappy about how his business side went cannot spill over onto what he did on the field. When Ben was out, he was our only hope (and he delivered, see the 2015 Chargers game) because the backup couldn’t ever get the ball to any of the receivers. Bell did some special, unprecedented shit in Pittsburgh. That stretch is among the greatest ever seen by any RB in the history of the game. Williams was amazing, but he was never anything like that.
