the part where you say that eating past fulness as a result of mental hunger is not binging THANK YOU so much i am rlly struggling with that and kinda have a feeling that i am just replacing one disorder with another. What you say is super helpful

I am so glad that you got help when you did. I acquired an ED freshman year of high school. I never got help, denied it, and went through countless phases of quasi recovery/relapse. Now here I am- 22 years old, getting ready to graduate college, and at the lowest place (both mentally and physically) that I have ever been. However, it makes me so so so happy to know that you are so strong and intelligent at such a young age. You inspire me.

I am so sorry that you are still going through this, thats awful. please remember that recovery is still possible and you can still get better xx

Never would have thought you're "only" 15! Although there is a very young and refreshing side to you, I would have expected you to be older, especially because you seem so mature and reflected at other times. Such a beautiful mix! Can't wait to see you grow

Im 15 too so its nice seeing someone the same age talk about recovery, ive always had a messy relationship with food but ive only been suffering with anorexia for about 3 months, im getting worried because its getting really really bad but i feel like i havent been suffering for long enough to ask for help yet :/
@hollydavidson35613 жыл бұрын
it’s never too soon to ask for help love! the sooner you ask for help, the sooner you can start getting better and enjoy also the amazing parts of life without being controlled by the fear. i know you commented this a few months ago so i really hope you asked for help and are on the road of recovery because you really, really deserve recovery xxx

Just a little upstate, thank you guys for the kind words and advising me to seek help, after about 6 months I just hit rock bottom, my life was just incredibly empty and I made the decision to go for all in recovery, best decision of my life, in about a week it’ll be my two year anniversary of starting recovery, it is possible and the best decision I’ve every made

I love this video: but regarding taking back control: Not everyone has the pleasure of having such supportive parents. I was the only one controlling my food from the beginning on. My mom never actually believed me I am having an eating disorder. To everyone reading this: you can do this! Not having any family support doesn’t mean you will not be able to recover or that you will relapse.

thankyou so much for this, you are right. I so sorry you didnt get that support you needed. sending you so much love xx

Something that helps me with the ‘I’m not sick enough’ is if you had the flu would you try to make yourself sicker no you would want to get better and it would NOT make you weak for getting better after only having the flu for a week so we should fight the ED no matter what

The conversation with your mum that you had.. my mom said the EXACT same thing to me today. Prior to that, she gave me a about a normal serving of food for lunch, and I legit had a panic attack after eating it because I had gone over eating a certain amount of calories before 5pm.. and now, I have time till Sunday to get ready to change things because after that, my mum is gonna take care my eating portions and everything.. idk what to do

You videos are so helpful! Only just found your channel and your videos really help me have more confidence to challenge my ED. I’m 15 as well and currently off school as I’m trying to restore weight, I’m making progress but feel like there are still some fears and frustration as resting is so hard when you want to be able to do stuff. Did you ever have to have time off? If so, how did you cope? Xx
