A really good idea for the joints is those things that you use on paper to make weird action figures. The ones that are mostly Madeline have to like things that pop out that would work great for it as long as you make it small and tight fit.

The motion from 0:39 to 0:42 gives off the same vibe as a old pixar movie (I.E Toy Story, bugs life or monsters inc.) and I’ve yet to find something close to that kind of minimalist deadline acting that is personally my favorite animation style, so props on that

That awesome dude! To help with the magnet problem is that maybe if it’s possible to cover up the showing magnet pieces with carbon or paper. Also you can make joints out of cardboard too and boot piping. Also wire and tinfoil are good ways for a stronger body parts. Just something to help you out but you do you.
