Same!!! I absolutely love Sekiro, but the gameplay is just so simple, really hurts replayability. I desperately want Sekiro 2. Or at least a spiritual successor of some kind. There's so much they could do with it.

@@sshawnly I think Esi ET was talking about the usual staggered knockback that we'll get from blocking/deflecting that blow on land(where Sekiro will stab his sword on the ground to regain his footing). Mid-air deflect allows us to quickly go on the offensive with shorter time-lag. For scrub like me even if I mange to pull the mid-air deflect, I'm too noob to take any advantage it'll give me in the fight lol.

@@arurueruru9177 He *does* get knockbacked. Just because the animation is different doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. He still only gets to do 2 hits before he can use the spear just as the ape is about the get up. The only way(iirc) to avoid the knockback while still deflecting is using umbrella.

For anyone that doesnt know, at 09:30 you can use the upgraded Malcontent to make the monkeys battle royal each other. But Ongbal's tactic feels so satisfying to watch too, i gotta try that myself. Also off-topic but you can also burn the grass/bushes ( which you can hide in ) by letting an enemies burn it ( fire arrow etc ) or use any prothestic tool with fire application like fire axe, fire spear etc ). Ofc after burning them they will disappear and you wont be able to hide in the area which was covered by the grass. You have to warp to a different area for them to respawn.

While all your videos really showcase your deep knowledge and technical prowess of the games, the "No HUD" has an even more impactful feel to it, because it's just existing in a world that you're familiar with. Moreso than just that, you have a really fantastic understanding of how to communicate that to an audience, especially with moments like 2:00 where you look over an area that _you_ know, but it provides context to the audience to better follow what happens after. That's part of what makes your content really stand out even beyond all the work that goes into it is that it displays your understanding of the game and your audience _SO_ well! Thanks as always for making these!

Masterfully played, a true displayer of skills, practice and just pure artistic soul poured into a product- the fluid movement of the camera pauses and stresses at some moment or dialog is just raw feeling of an artist making up such movie from just limited boundaries of the game engine+ minimal editing torches. Prob to you, thanks for the midnight treat

Been watching you for a while now, love how you implement different prosthetics, ninjutsus and combat arts for your stealth gameplay videos/boss fights! I had tried playing Sekiro twice or thrice about two years ago but I was never able to get into it, I got stuck at Hirata Estate; but I tried again about a month ago and I'm almost done with my second playthrough, I absolutely enjoy fighting a lot of the bosses and I'm learning to implement different techniques into my playstyle too! You also encouraged me to not be afraid to use Yashariku's sugars and man it genuinely feels good when I'm able to perfect deflect most of the time :] I also started my second playthrough without Kuro's Charm to force myself to learn to perfect deflect, and it works! Sekiro is one of the only games besides Hollow Knight that I've tried restricting myself in, and in both of those cases it forced me to improve while still having fun! Mastering boss fights is one of the best feelings there is in these two games specifically imo.
