I love the fact that you are a true sailor. Some of the other sailing youtube channels are just people living in luxury on massive boats.

I am hoping you have three years worth of footage with the old boat and no engine. What an awesome manoeuvre rafting onto the catamaran by sail.

I've lived on a boat for 17 years and often played with the philosophy of "no engine", maybe when it goes bang 😅💥 chapeaux homme. 👍⛵

Great video, no luxuries but plenty of fun and skilled sailing. Most youtubers start the engine at first sign of difficulty.

I remember thinking "machine broken, adventure over". You have proven to me once again that it always goes on "Fuck the machine" :D . All the best in the world to everyone and fair winds.

I was wondering if you can give me some advice on these anchors, chain & rope for a 9.76m or 32 feet long catamaran possibly weighing around 1600 kg/3530 lb - 1800 kg/3970 lb ????? I was looking at getting a 15 kg/33 lb claw self aligning sand/mud anchor boats up to 12m, an 11 kg/24 lb reef Anchor Mooloolaba Pick boats up to 13m, TITAN G30 short link 20m x 13mm chain 80 kg/2041 kg load limit, AQUATEC 14mm x 250m high strength rope 3100 kg break force & a teardrop orange anchor buoy 730mm/29" H x 550mm/22" W with an anchor plus chain lifting force of around 104 kg. Would you say that this is overkill or adequate if anchoring with heavy winds ?????

How cares, my new hero didnt use fuel for a hole 100 days. well between my fishing boat and V8 truck, and my 502 cube boat engine which burns 32 gallons and hour at full out , and lets not forget about my 2 stroke sled, I made up for your lack of fossil fuel use, Alberta Canada proud oil and gas sector.
