That machine is cool. I was washing dishes and I heard you say "he's a thick one, just standing out there", I thought you were talking about the man you made the deal with, I was like "no way Ryan just said that". Then I looked and realized you're talking about an alligator.. wfew😅. I freaked for a tiny second. Sorry I doubted you. Lol Good you're still cool 😎. I can't wait to hear an update on the machine and parts. I hope you can put it in a video for us.

Lathe find, if you’re goal is to maximize profit, list each bit separately, also I would disassemble each of the assembled units and sell each piece separately as well, this type of item will have a “long tail”, meaning it will take few years to sell it all, you have the space & time, this has been my business model, but everyone has different needs based on availability of space, time, and $$$ needs, excellent find and great decision, Marks eBay Store ;)

Curious how many of the sold comps were local pickup and how many were shipped. The machines are right at the limit of what can be easily shipped.
@RALLIROOTS10 ай бұрын
None of them were local pickup, super easy to ship. It’ll probably cost us around $30/unit. Don’t be afraid to ship larger items.

That 3rd lathe in the back is a 1950s craftsman and it also go's for very good money. people call them craftsman 109 lathes because the model number starts with 109. there's money to be made selling old machines and machine parts but it requires some knowledge.

Great buy on the lathe. No, you should not have paid $250. You had no idea on what all was there, you are taking a risk and you have to do the research and work to list what maybe several long tail items. Good going. Thanks for another fun video, Randy.
