A 20 year old motherboard starts for the first time

Hi there, sorry it took so long for me to notice. That damn notification thing did not show anything at the time and having two small kids somewhat keeps me from properly checking on everything. Man, I'm sorry it was such a hassle. For a minute there I thought the CPU was done for. I'd guess that updating BIOS would be advisable before using this P3? Perhaps P2 would be better choice on a brand new board, should have sent you that. Anyway, your conclusion is basically the same to mine... I don't understand this board enough and I don't even understand half of what you do :D Well I hope, you'll be able to use the CPU elsewhere successfully. Thank you too and keep it coming :D

did you see the jumpers on cpu multipliers? and use Pentium 2
