A fail for a PR but a win for a more than decent 200k time. It's all relative. You may be out of condition due to a break after PBP but that effort is still inspiring. Thanks for the video!

It’s still a fair cycle. I love it when you say it’s always good to have excuses so here is a few more, 🤣. Can I ask about your front chainring and cassette sizes.
@TorHovland Жыл бұрын
I'm using WickWerks 53-34 chainrings and an 11-42 cassette for maximum range. I used all those gears. More info here: forum.cruzbike.com/threads/wondering-about-the-fastest-while-wide-range-drivetrain.13367/page-5#post-182935

You tend not to pedal going down hills. Is that for a rest or because you would spin out? Having been in a wheel chair for a while ,my ftp is only 160 due to muscle wastage. Can only dream of maintaining 175w. Have you tried a trike like the ICE VTX? If so is it much slower than your recumbent bike?
@TorHovland10 ай бұрын
It's a bit of both. I can't do a high cadence on this bike, which means I spin out early.

Did you experience the same pain on the older V20 and did you have the same crank arm lengths. I am currently using 175 and Ive been lead to believe shorter arms (155) are better.

I didn't get the same hip flexor fatigue on the older Vendetta, that's why I'm thinking it's a slight bike fit issue. The cranks are the same. I've actually never tried anything other than 175. But I know I can handle that fine, and things did seem to improve when I shortened the boom.

Just try another day with less wind, because 14.4km/h it`s a strong little bit.
@TorHovland Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I will try again in the spring. But I never said 14,4. That would indeed be a lot!
