My takeaways were waiting for confirmation of what the stock is going to do before you enter, especially with these overextended stocks that can also consolidated and make a move higher, especially if early shorts are already heavy into position. Also don't fight trend, and if you are counter trend trading, make sure you are covering at key levels that could provide support, don't overstay and wait for a big move
