Been watching your reviews for couple weeks now & stumbled upon the AOC Q24G2ABK, I was considering these TN panels & also the older Acer 390Hz but getting older now I’ve been wanting better clarity without the size up. I find 24-25” the best spot for competitive gaming so the 1440p 123.4 PPI on this is going to blow my mind I think. Just waiting for Black Friday to see if I can snag it a tad cheaper! Appreciate your reviews.

Camera colour temperature is what you see as blue. I'd suggest this over the Acer, and you should be able to use different refresh rates, see the video.

Hey! Ive been looking for a ton of different monitors past week. Everyone has its ups. now im between 3 monitors. Viewsonic XG2431, AW2523HF and now this AG256FS. Which one would you recommend the most. Viewsonic has the best motion clarity but it comes from the cost of a lot of brightness, which doesnt seem reasonable. AW2523F seems a good choice but there im worried about motion clarity. And now AGON monitor seems to be the sweetspot, but im worried about AOC build quality, which from my research, seems to be a piece of garbage. Which one would you recommend from them.

For 300Hz refresh rate, will there be a lot of RGB overshoot when using Strong overdrive mode? and will that be on par with 390Hz at Medium Overdrive of RGB Overshoot?👏🏻
@TotallydubbedHDАй бұрын
Didn't try it at 300Hz so can't comment sorry! But likely similar ish performance to 390 - why would you set it lower though?
@user-je7fh1oq9fАй бұрын
@@TotallydubbedHD Some games limit their frame rate output to 300Hz eg. Apex Legends, going beyond 300 or 360 would not be necessary while using fastest overdrive would max out the avg latency this would benefits more?(not sure if this idea is right tho please correct me).
@TotallydubbedHDАй бұрын
@@user-je7fh1oq9f you don't ever want to limit the frames on the monitor side (ie via GPU menu); if the game does it, that's fine. Thus, even though the game is running at 300Hz, your performance of the monitor's response time will match the 390Hz timings shared in this video. Hope that makes sense?

@@TotallydubbedHD Therefore, lowering down monitor refresh rate does not help the RGB overshoot problem, right?

I really don't know why the industry has completely migrated from TN panels to IPS. I don't know how anyone can spend money on a monitor that can only be used in bright environments and on bright screens. For me, traditional IPS is a disgrace, IPS GLOW makes all the benefits of an IPS panel impossible. * great video 👍🏻

I think most ppl just turn on the light whenever they're using computer? The most complained thing about QD-OLED is its contrast in bright room, although claimed as infinite contrast ratio, but its contrast ratio drops to 1000:1 under 100 lux of environment brightness

I personally prefer TN but really I don't see the issue people say they have with IPS. They look much better compared to TN in any possible way and don't have any ghosting issues either. Makes perfect sense they're the industry standard. I have a Philips 280hz IPS and I love it.
